Denys and Matt :: Springville Ranch Wedding

The way Denys tells the story of meeting Matt is so beautiful, I can’t even begin to do it justice. This January a new chapter in their story was written as Denys and Matt were married at the Springville Ranch. A love for literature and writing was carried throughout the theme of the wedding in all the special details. The barn was transformed into a glamorous setting that still maintained all the rustic charm. Card catalogs greeted the reception guests, authors names decorated the table cards and 160 unique quotes were tied to wedding favors. These personal touches made this wedding truly unique. Vendors came together from Bakersfield to Porterville to create this special day. The bride and groom also added lots of handmade touches. The Springville Ranch was such a beautiful wedding venue and the whole day fit Denys and Matt perfectly.

Her dress had so many beautiful details. I loved the flowers on the front! – just like the perfume she wore that day.

Denys wore Guess boots with her dress and it really completed the look. Matt had a wooden ring found on Etsy. Place cards were organized alphabetically like a card catalog. Little books with real authors and titles directed them to their seats. The little burlap bag contained beef jerky for wedding favors. Each favor had its own special quote. Denys looked stunning! The berries mixed into the white flowers made it the perfect winter bouquet and the touches of red on Matt added the perfect pop of color. Denys’ headband was my favorite detail of her outfit. I just love this photo of Matt. It was right before the first look and he just looks so happy. Matt is a firefighter for the forestry service. The picture wall and place card table.  The guests signed on scrolls for the bride and groom. Cones from book pages held lavender to shower Denys and Matt as they walk down the aisle as husband and wife.
