Hi, my name is Jen.

I call Bakersfield, CA home. I tend to highly over use : and ) simultaneously because I smile a lot, and I constantly feel the need to convey that in writing. If you email me, I promise to try and limitto one per email. My family and friends are my heart and my strength. I have a weakness for chocolate, baby animals, and cute funny redheaded guys. I think Rocky is the greatest love story of all time. I cry every time I watch The Notebook (yes, every time). Nothing makes me happier than having the immense honor and privilege for my work and passion for art to be one and the same.

In case you care about this type of stuff – I have an art degree. I began my journey towards a photography career during college on film in a photojournalism class. I am also a graphic designer. Compared to some, I guess that makes me kind of cool, but really, I just hope you like my photos. I am always honest and open about my work and my weddings. Feel free to ask me anything. And Yes – photography is so fun!

The most important thing to consider on your wedding day is the relationship you build with your photographer. You will be spending a lot of time with this person, and maybe that person is me! I pride myself on knowing when to create and when to capture. It is absolutely possible to create beautiful images while never disrupting what the day is about – you and the person you love.
