I just loved shooting this wedding. It was sweet and simple and full of love. From the moment Jennifer and Dominic met with me I could tell how in love they were. I was super excited to capture these memories for them. They got married at their church with their closest family and friends in attendance. Bakersfield Wedding for Vanessa & Jeff

Vanessa is an incredible person, and so it’s no surprise she married a pretty wonderful guy. I have so much love for these two and their amazing family, I can’t even begin to put into words how honored I was to capture this day for them. It was absolutely stunning down to the very last detail. Their ceremony took place atSt. Philip the Apostle Church followed by a reception at the bride’s parent’s house. This wedding represented Vanessa and Jeff perfectly. It was beautiful and fun all at the same time. The decor was thoughtful and elegant, with elements of playfulness worked in. Big thanks to Linsey Middleton for second shooting! Oh Nikki and Steve! Where do I even begin? These two had the most beautiful wedding day. I’m still feeling all the warm fuzzies when I look at the photos. There were so many thoughtful and elegant details. My favorite being that the bride wore her grandmother’s wedding shoes from 1941! How unique and special is that? From the wedding party, the family, guests and every vendor… this was one of the nicest groups of people I had ever had the honor to work with. Bakersfield Wedding for Kristen and Joey

Kristen and Joey were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help following a ceremony at Bakersfield Museum of Art. There were so many cute details at this wedding. The mint colored dresses, the cute drink cups, a dictionary as a guest book! Yet, my favorite thing about photographing this wedding was that it was truly a celebration of two families coming together, and the joy everyone was experiencing seemed off the charts. Even after all these years, I am still totally blown away how strangers can invite me into their lives for a such a special day. I learn a lot about these people in one day, and they will always have a special place in my heart. Especially when they are two incredibly kind hearted and beautiful people, like Kristen and Sean. Noriega House Wedding for Coy and Tori

I am so honored to be sharing this wedding. Coy Townson has photographed weddings with me for nearly as long as I’ve been photographing weddings. His family has become dear friends, and I have watched them raise three amazing children from little kids to nearly grown adults. So, it shouldn’t have been a surprise when one day, his son came to me and asked if I would shoot his wedding someday. I agreed to be his future wedding photographer, and then it seemed like I blinked, and “someday” had arrived. He had found Tori, and she was an absolutely amazing woman to share his life with. I am always honored when another photographer asks me to shoot for them, but especially this photographer, and this family. West Shore Cafe, Lake Tahoe Wedding for Marci & Jeremy

Lake Tahoe is a magical place, and getting to do photograph a wedding there was a photographer’s dream come true! I am so honored Marci and Jeremy asked me to photograph their Lake Tahoe wedding at West Shore Cafe. It was difficult to narrow down my favorite photos for this blog post. Marci truly sparkled in her beaded wedding gown. Beautiful scenery was everywhere! Not to mention, just how adorably, truly and sweetly in love Marci and Jeremy are. You can see why it was such a difficult task. Because I have known Marci’s family for years, and they are super awesome people, I just decided to go ahead and post a bunch of photos. A concise blog post is over-rated. Trust me, you want to see all of the beautiful burgundy and wine themed details, the scenic portraits, and all the fun in between. Forget Me Knot Events did an outstanding job keeping the day on point with their coordinating skills. Marci and Jeremy, congratulations! I am so excited to share this wedding on my blog! It truly means the world to me to be chosen by Anna and Carlo to document this day for them. I met Anna several years ago when she worked in the wedding business. She is one of the sweetest, kindest souls I know, and Carlo is her perfect match. This day was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony took place at San Miguel Mission, with the reception at Santa Margarita Ranch. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and JEH Ranch Wedding for Lisa and Gus

Two weeks ago as I left this wedding, I knew the exact words I wanted to say about it. I was so happy about this day, and I thought to myself, this blog post is going to be so easy to compose. Well, I am not as speedy about posting my blogs as I once was (thanks to baby). So now, that I am writing it, I can’t seem to remember those words in my head. But – I still remember how I felt. I was full of joy. I felt as if I had just witnessed two perfect/perfect for each other people unite, and I felt very, very lucky that they chose me to capture it.
