Claire & Peter {Santa Barbara Engagement Session}

When you arrive to a session in pouring rain, you wouldn’t think the people you are about to photograph would be all smiles. Then again, that probably means you don’t know Claire & Peter. They are such positive and inspiring people. We got word there was sunshine on the horizon in Goleta and opted to start our session out in the butterfly preserve where they used to run together. Even though they trusted me to make the best of it, I was so happy when the day cleared up and we were able to shoot at all their favorite places around Santa Barbara. In the end, I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop to their engagement session, and I am so excited to shoot their wedding in the spring. Here are some of my favorites:
