Nipomo Wedding for Jackie and James

James and Jackie were married in an intimate backyard Nipomo wedding. The wedding took place at the home of the groom’s parents. With less than 20 people in attendance, they took great care to make every aspect of their wedding feel personal and special. Vintage details, DIY decor, and a soft peach and sea foam color palette set the tone for the day. Had I been hired as the photographer without knowing these people personally, I still would have thought this was the most perfect little wedding I had ever been to. The fact that it was for my sister, just made it even that much more special. I couldn’t be happier for my sister. Not only did she find an amazing man who loves her with all of his heart, she found a whole family full of love. On their wedding day, our two families truly became one. We celebrated their love, we toasted, cheered, laughed, and even shed a few tears of joy.

Not only did I get to capture these special memories for her, but I also played the role of maid of honor. I have my second shooter, Coy Townson, to thank for making this possible. Without him, there is no way I would have been able to play both roles. Coy did an amazing job capturing moments, so I got to experience them. The photos in this post were captured by both of us.
